Postcron will usually send you an email notifying you when a post wasn't published but you can also see here the reasons and solutions for your unpublished posts:

  • (#200) Insufficient permission to post to target on behalf of the viewer: This error indicates that you haven't accepted the permissions Postcron needs to publish to your account. (Facebook) 

SOLUTION: Delete the social account from Postcron, add it back again and make sure to accept all of the permissions. 

  • A user access token is required to request this resource: This error indicates that the permissions to publish to your account were revoked. This can happen when you change your password, login from other devices, or if the social network detects spam behavior in your account. 

SOLUTION: A Reconnect button should appear in your dashboard in this case. If it doesn't, you can either delete the Postcron app from Facebook and then go back to Postcron and click the Reconnect option. If this option doesn't solve the problem, the only solution is to delete the social account and add it back again.

  • The user must be an administrator: This error indicates that the permissions to publish to your account were revoked (Facebook) This can happen when you change your password, login from other devices, or if the social network detects spam behavior in your account.

  • Facebook has changed the session for security reasons

  • Throttle limit for calls to this resource is reached: This error indicates that the limits for daily publications were exceeded. (Linkedin) 

SOLUTION: Review your scheduled posts and delete the ones that exceed the daily limit. 

  • Invalid Registration: This error indicates that there is a problem with the registration of your Instagram account on Postcron. It can happen if you have installed the Postcron app on different devices using the same account.  

SOLUTION: Delete the Postcron app from your phone and install it again. 

  • Duplicate Status: This error indicates that you have published the same post twice in a day. Twitter doesn't allow duplicate tweets in a 24hrs period. 

SOLUTION: Delete any duplicate posts scheduled. 

  • The content you're trying to share includes a link that our security systems detected to be unsafe: Facebook is blocking your posts. due to the link used.  

SOLUTION: Use a URL shortener with your links and republish your post. 

  • Service Temporarily Unavailable: Facebook is blocking your account from publishing through an external platform temporarily. 

SOLUTION: Make sure you are not exceeding the daily limits for publications and add 5 minutes between each of your posts. 

  • You recently posted something that violates Facebook policies: Facebook is blocking your posts due to a violation of their policies. 

SOLUTION: Change the contents of your posts.
